Kayla Horacek, a Pasadena-based family law attorney, will guest speak at the "Inn of St. Ives", an event implemented by the Southwestern Law School Alumni Association. The event will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bullocks Wilshire Building at the Southwestern Law School campus.
Ms. Horacek has been invited to speak at the dinner event due to her expertise as a practicing attorney in the field of family law, which is the topic of discussion for the event, hosted by the Honorable Gerald Rosenberg.
The "Inn of St. Ives" is a vehicle for students to get the opportunity, often for the first time, to interact with practicing attorneys and judges in a collegial setting.
"I am looking forward to discussing practical family law issues with law students to provide them with a better understanding of what the practice of family law is really like, " said Ms. Horacek in relation to her invitation to speak at the event.
Ms. Horacek is an associate attorney at Schweitzer Law Partners, practicing in the field of family law. She is an alumnus of the Southwestern University School of Law.
