On Saturday, April 21, 2012, the Pasadena Bar Association held its annual Speech Scholarship Contest at La Salle High School. The tournament kicked off at 8:30 am and after four intensive rounds, concluded at 2:00 pm. Forty five local high school students, representing eleven different schools participated in the competition. The two finalists (who will compete at our upcoming Law Day event), were from Maranatha and La Canada high school. Arcadia High School won first place in the team competition.
Our Association provided thirty five judges, who were all members of the PBA. Thanks to our Exclusive Sponsors, prizes and scholarship money has and will be given to the top twenty-one contestants.
