Kayla Horacek, a Pasadena-based family law attorney, will guest speak at the "Inn of St. Ives", an event implemented by the Southwestern Law School Alumni Association. The event will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bullocks Wilshire Building at the Southwestern Law School campus.
Ms. Horacek has been invited to speak at the dinner event due to her expertise as a practicing attorney in the field of family law, which is the topic of discussion for the event, hosted by the Honorable Gerald Rosenberg.
The "Inn of St. Ives" is a vehicle for students to get the opportunity, often for the first time, to interact with practicing attorneys and judges in a collegial setting.
"I am looking forward to discussing practical family law issues with law students to provide them with a better understanding of what the practice of family law is really like, " said Ms. Horacek in relation to her invitation to speak at the event.
Ms. Horacek is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, practicing in the field of family law. She is an alumnus of the Southwestern University School of Law.
"We are extremely proud of Kayla and her achievements. Kayla started with us right out of law school and has developed into an experienced Family Law Attorney. She is very close to obtaining her certification as a Family Law Specialist and should be a real inspiration for the students she will meet at Southwestern Law School," said Donald P. Schweitzer, managing attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer.
