Ms. Abbott is an Associate Attorney at Schweitzer Law Partners, APC. Ms. Abbott handles a broad range of family law matters, such as dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, spousal support, division of property, and domestic violence restraining orders.

Experience

Prior to becoming an associate at the firm, Ms. Abbott worked as a law clerk in various practice areas including, but not limited to Civil Litigation, Probate & Elder Law, Criminal Defense, and Mediation. Ms. Abbott clerked for the Santa Ana City Attorney’s Office, the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, and various private practice law firms.

Ms. Abbott discovered her passion for family law after completing a clerkship with a renowned Orange County family law firm during her second year of law school. Ms. Abbott is passionate about helping clients navigate the legal system with ease as they face one of the most difficult times in their lives.

While in law school, Ms. Abbott co-founded and acted as the Vice President for the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law Human Rights Law Society. Ms. Abbott was also an active member of the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler Family and Children Law Society.
